Buku Oh Buku ~ Big Bad Wolf...here we go =)

Alkisah aku dok menahan diri dari mengunjungi pesta buku kerana buku yang dibeli tahun lalu pun belum habis dibaca…Yelah mana tidaknye banyak habihkan masa baca ebook, blog dan buku adek beradek ku. Lagipun sejak mula bergym nih…dah kemaruk jadinye…hari2 nak pergi…kalu tak mesti sakit badan…

Then member aku yang pergi share laks gambar buku2 yang dia beli…terbakar aje rasa hati…gatal aje tangan nak g gak big bad wolf nih…Terus aku buat plan nak g…gym kasi postpone satu hari...biar aku bergym kat Big bad Wolf aje...tapi nak g ngan sapa???

Teringat laks sekarang cuti sekolah…so anak2 buah lah jadi mangsa..depa memang excited lah coz tak pernah pergi ye…kompom khamis @ 9.30am (nih lah kelebihan kerja dari umah…bule main larik2 jap).

Mak aku pun nak join skali…tak pernah g lah katakan..hehehehe..the idea was pakai kasut selesa, bawa beg besar n op coz botol air. Alhamdulillah traffic clear…almaklumlah cuti skolah…10.30am dah sampe dah.
Masuk aje exhibition hall..perghhh…buku RM3 mana bule tahan!!! Terus trolley besar aku amek. Anak2 buah pun sama. Kakak amek trolley but si adek Aisha tak nak trolley…katanye trolley bule membawa kepada silap langkah hehehehe…

Masing2 berpecah…Aku nye plan was – start with bargain corner…mencari buku2 mengenai self-help, adult reading, cookery, green living, craft and gardening. Anak2 buah aku memang  dok kat novel section aje…

Perut dah keroncong n trolley dah penuh...rasanye cukup stok buku tuk setahun dah nih...maka kami pun beratur kat cashier and singgah di chicken rice shop sebelum balik umah..minimum sorang ada 10 buku...memang cukup puas hati....all in all we spent about 5 hours for the Big Bad Wolf fair...

Lepas beli buku2 nih aku berazam I wanna go for Big Bad Wolf 2015 hehehehe tapi sebelum tuh kena habiskan semua buku yang ada nih =)

Yang dibawah nih laks antara koleksi2 anak2 buahku yang remaja for 2015...have a blast girls.

Since anak2 buahku yang kecil2 tak dapat ikut sekali coz mak ngah tok leh handle korang nanti...mak ngah ada belikan hadiah tuk korang...kisah-isah nabi...ada 25 buku kesemuanya...nanti mak ngah nak minta korang bacakan kepada mak ngah heheheehe..

Kata orang kalu nak tanamkan minat membaca...kena mula dari awal...masa mereka kecil lagi...cuti sekolah takde benda nak buat...bacalah buku ye...

Habiskan nih dulu...nanti kalau ada Big Bad Wolf Box offer...mak ngah stok-up buku lagi ye =)

Nasihat aku pada korang yang belum pergi, atau dah lama tak pergi atau tak pernah pergi...PERGILAH!!!! jangan tunggu lagi...percayalah korang pun akan rambang biji mata kat sana nanti...tinggal 2 hari aje lagi...

Kakak n Aisha dah plan nak mulakan Bedah's book club sempena hari jadi nenek mereka hari nih...jadi bule lah berkongsi buku2 yang best untuk dibaca...

Si kakak kata "mak ngah nanti bila kita dah ada banyak buku, kita buat library ye"...Aku tersenyum aje...aku jawab balik "ok kakak...kita buat FREE library kepada mereka yang ingin membaca ye"...

Dalam hatiku..."Tambah satu lagi idea to my Give-back Khalifah Home aku nanti...in shaa allah akan ku usahakan juga impianku ini.

HaPPy Tots Jar...

2012 was a year of lesson. Though the burden was heavy but YOU gave me the strength to step forward...and I've been walking since then...I am moving forward...towards YOU...so please dun let me go stray once again, Ya Rabb...

My BEST learned lesson in 2012:
  1. If you wanna do something. Dun wait...do it now. Later will be all too late..
  2. Let go of d past and d pain...you learned what you needed to.

2013... I welcome you with an open heart and mind. Best way to start is thru my HappY tOts Jar...I kind got this idea as I was browsing fb :).This is a great idea, Shukran Allah. It looks so fun and I know I will be crying for all YOUR blessings on 31/12/2013

Hope to learn much and in case I forgot to tell you this... I am most grateful for all the things YOU bless me with in 2012... I wouldn't be who I am today if not for the lessons in 2012. I am sooooo looking forward to another blessed year Allah. Please guide me all the way as YOU been doing...Since I go crazy over fancy jars and boxes...my jar is a bit unique... Nevertheless, I know it is sooooo delicious...

Please ignore my model...she can't stand it when you give attention to anything else other than her ;p

D' blessed one

I Believe

A very dear friend shared this beautiful poem with me...I may not be good in creating, or finding one....but sure am lucky enuf to share this one....

I Believe...
A Birth Certificate shows that we are born
A Death Certificate shows that we died
Pictures show that we lived ~ Have a seat, relax, and read this slowly.

I Believe...
That just because two people argue, It doesn't mean they don't love each other.
And just because they don't argue, It doesn't mean they do love each other.

I Believe...
That we don't have to change friends if we understand that friends change.

I Believe...
That no matter how good a friend is,
They're going to hurt you every once in a while and you must forgive them for that.

I Believe...
That true friendship continues to grow, even over the longest distance.
Same goes for true love.

I Believe...
That you can do something in an instant that will give you heartache for life.

I Believe...
That it's taking me a long time to become the person I want to be.

I Believe...
That you should always leave loved ones with  Loving words.
It may be the last time you see them.

I Believe...
That you can keep going long after you think you can't.

I Believe...
That we are responsible for what  we do, no matter how we feel.

I Believe...
That either you control your attitude or it controls you.

I Believe...
That heroes are the people who do what has to be done when it needs  to be done, regardless of the consequences.

I Believe...
That my best friend and I can do anything or nothing and have the best time.

I Believe...
That sometimes the people you expect to kick you when you're down will be the ones to help you get back up.

I Believe...
That sometimes when I'm angry, I have the right to be angry
But that doesn't give me the right to be cruel

I Believe...
That maturity has more to do with what types of experiences you've had
And what you've learned from them and less to do with how many birthdays you've celebrated.

I Believe...
That it isn't always enough,to be forgiven by others.  Sometimes, you have to learn to forgive yourself..

I Believe...
That no matter how bad your heart is broken  the world doesn't stop for your grief.

I Believe...
That our background and circumstances  may have influenced who we are,
But, we are responsible for who we become.

I Believe...
That you shouldn't be so eager to find out a secret, it could change your life forever.

I Believe...
Two people can look at the exact same thing and see something totally different.

I Believe...
That your life can be changed in a matter of hours by people who don't even know you

I Believe...
That even when you think you have no more to give,
When a friend cries out to you -  You will find the strength to help.

I Believe...
That credentials on the wall do not make you a decent human being.

I Believe...
That the people you care about most in life are taken from you too soon.

I Believe...
The happiest of people don't necessarily have the best of everything;
They just make the most of everything they have.

Most importantly!!! I Believe...
I am here for a reason. I may screw-up, make mistakes and even hurt those I love as I grow....but believe me ~ I am working hard every moment, every day of my life making my stay here a worthwhile one...

I also believe that in life there are things that need a strong soul more than strong words...so please ALLAH, help me strengthen my soul as u did my spirit ~ Ameen!!

Put tHe GlaSs doWN ✿ܓ✿

My dearest friend shared this story wif me. Reading this, you could just imagine how lucky I am to have such a friend. I am truly blessed to have extremely wonderful people in my life in the name of family and friends. They are the real treasures of my life. The only gift I am able to give them is dua'a that ALLAH will protect and grant them everything they need and want in life and insha allah for us to meet in Jannah... (✿◠‿◠)

The stowy goes like this:

A professor began his class by holding up a glass with some water in it.
He held it up for all to see and asked the students, "How much do you think this glass weighs?"
 "50gm!" .. "100gm!" .. "125gm!" .. the students answered.
"I really don't know unless I weigh it," said the professor, "but my question is: What would happen if I held it up like this for a few minutes?"
 "Nothing," the students said.
"Ok. What would happen if I held it up like this for an hour?" the professor asked.
"Your arm would begin to ache," said one of the students.
"You're right. Now, what would happen if I held it for a day?"
"Your arm could go numb, you might have severe muscle stress & paralysis and have to go to hospital for sure!" ventured another student and all the students laughed.
"Very good. But during all this, did the weight of the glass change?" asked the professor.
"No," was the answer.
"Then, what caused the arm ache and the muscle stress?"
......The students were puzzled.
"What should I do now to come out of pain?" asked professor again.
"Put the glass down!" said one of the students.
"Exactly!" said the professor. "Life's problems are something like this.
"Hold it for a few minutes in your head & they seem OK. Think of them for a long time & they begin to ache. Hold it even longer & they begin to paralyze you. You will not be able to do anything".

~ It's important to think of the challenges or problems in your life, but EVEN MORE IMPORTANT is to PUT THEM DOWN at the end of every day before you go to sleep. That way, you're not stressed, you wake up every day fresh, strong and can handle any issue, any challenge that comes your way!" "So, remember to PUT THE GLASS DOWN!" ~

To my dearest BFFL, thank you so much for everything and everyone u have been, still am, and will always be. Thank you so much for alwiz being there and never leaving me. So this is my prayers for you alwiz :

p/s - Zana, buckle up!!! I am praying hard to ALLAH that we will be neighbours in Jannah ~ Insha ALLAH

I wonder WHY???

When we were younger…

✿ܓLaughter was the cure for almost everything.

✿ܓWe dare to dream and be different.

✿ܓWe’re never short of friends though no facebook &  twitter.

✿ܓFriends were classified by kawan ngaji, kawan skolah, anak jiran etc.

✿ܓSport for us was Teng-teng, Galah Panjang, Chopping, Rounders, Getah, Selipar tiga, Mak-mak.

✿ܓBe it Kampung or Bandar, sumer mesti pernah panjat pokok and main sungai OR longkang…

✿ܓKenduri means Rewang and everyone in the neighborhood is involved at least for 3 days.

✿ܓOn Malam Raya, our parents would gather to make ketupat, rendang and lemang.
We de kidz took full opprtunity to play all nite long

✿ܓThere were variety of askem Malaysia and ice kepal. Mine was asam boi limau..yum2
And you actually buy 'em from makcik umah sebelah

✿ܓIt’s easier to heal from heartbreaks ¸.•♥•.¸¸.•♥•.¸¸.•♥•.¸¸.•♥•.¸¸.•♥•.¸¸.•♥•.¸

✿ܓImpossible was nothing.

✿ܓOur fast food was actually Burger Ramly.

✿ܓNobody cared about fashion and trends (✿◠‿◠)

✿ܓBedak Cuticura was the ONLY make-up we ever needed. Be it boys or galz.

✿ܓWe always say to ourselves ~ Bila aku dah besar aku nak buat itu dan ini.

Why is it Growing up is not how we imagined it to be? How we wish we could go back in time to those care free, stress free days and enjoy the best MOMENTS of our lives ♥‿♥

Moral of the stowy: Enjoy what you have, when you have it…coz for all you know it might be the BEST MOMENTS of your life…Tapi sesekali kalu nak menggila apa salahnye kan (¯`*•.¸♥♥¸.•*´¯)

Am really considering gathering with childhood games, Ramly burger, askem Malaysia and pot-luck (rewang kompom takde yg dapek join..hehehe)

HATI SEORANG PEMANDU TEKSI…

✿✿Petikan dari: Dunia macam-macam ✿✿

Aku melihat dirinya sangat sederhana. Umurnya, sekitar 65 tahun, mungkin.

“Kenapa masih bekerja Pak cik?”

“Kenapa? Pak Cik dah nampak tua?” tanyanya kembali.

Aku tersenyum. Senang dengan kemesraannya.

“Anak-anak masih kecil?” tanyaku lagi, mencungkil sebab sebenar dia masih bekerja walaupun selayaknya pada usia begitu dia berehat.

“Ah, Pak Cik dah bercucu. Alhamdulillah anak-anak semuanya dah bekerja.

“Kenapa Pak cik masih bekerja?” tanyaku lagi sambil memegang bahunya mesra.

“Bukankah bekerja itu satu ibadah? Ibadah mana ada pencen,”jawabnya pendek.

Aku terdiam.

“Awal Pak Cik dah keluar? Lepas Subuh terus bekerja?”

“Pagi-pagi ni murah rezeki. Pak Cik suka mula awal tetapi habis awal. Malam boleh tumpukan kerja lain.”

“Malam pun Pak Cik kerja juga?”

“Bukan kerja…

Kita beribadah ‘around the clock’ – sepanjang waktu. Rehat hanya di syurga.

“Pak Cik dulu mengaji agama di mana?” aku terus mencungkil.

“Pak cik tak pernah mengaji agama secara rasmi. Dulu sekolah kebangsaan sahaja.

“Tu, CD kuliah-kuliah agama. Pak Cik habiskan masa dengan dengar kuliah agama. Kalau letih mendengar Pak Cik cubalah zikir sedikit-sedikit.

“Pak Cik sihat? Tak da sakit-sakit?”

“Sakit tu mesti ada. Badan dah tua. Lenguh-lenguh, sakit urat. Tetapi yang berat-berat tu tak adalah. Alhamdulillah.”

“Pak Cik makan makanan tambahan? Food supplement?” jolok aku.

“Tak da. Pak Cik cuma jaga makan dan joging. Tubuh kita ni bukan kita punya… kena jaga baik-baik.”

“Tapi Tuhan Umar tahu! Allah tahu ibu.”

Orang herdik kita, kita minta maaf. Orang cuba tipu kita, kita mengelak dengan baik.”

“Mengapa begitu Pak Cik?”

Dia terdiam.

Been searching for my place in this world and how I could give back...Today I learn how to do it...By just being myself  (✿◠‿◠)

Boboy the FiGhteR

He’s an all-white kitten. His mom Squiry a stray, is a very young mother, so she doesn’t really know how to take care of her baby. So the experienced mother a.k.a my mom has been helping her out…dari menjadi bidan semasa kelahiran boboy, menyusu and even tuam her n***** coz Boboy kurang menyusu…hehehe

Boboy sangat aktif n manja…and everyone at home loves to play wif him…BTW, Boboy oso sangat garang…jangan cuba usik pipi, ekor, kutu, taik mata or taik hidungnya…be ready to taste his warth!!! I am the ibu tiri, so Boboy spends his time with me when his mom goes out for a date or nature calls.

Earlier this week, my friend came over and we were discussing on a project we wanted to do together…My mom was busy at the kitchen preparing dinner…since Squiry is so popular among the male cats in the alley, an orange cat was waiting for her outside the kitchen gate.

All of a sudden, my mom yelled!! Jijju..si oren dah tangkap Kutty (anak kucing in Tamil). By the time I rushed to the gate, I could see Oren was already at the end of the alley with boboy in his mouth. I rushed to the end of the alley and chased Oren as he turned right and went inside the sealed longkang.

Masa tue, Ya ALLAH…I know there was no way I could get him back…it was already dusk…and can’t see much…but I have to try even if it means I will have go inside the stinky, wet, and dark longkang…As I knelt to go inside the longkang, I saw something white on the longkang floor…I touched it and it was Boboy…Syukur Alhamdulillah.

He wasn’t moving..I couldn’t see blood coz usually male cats would kill kittens by making holes on the neck. I examined him further and saw blood in his ears. It struck me, there must holes somewhere and start searching for it. Then I saw a hole on his neck just under his right ear. Little blood, but he was not moving. I was so afraid he had died.

I started shaking him and prayed to ALLAH…Please ALLAH not yet…please!!! not him, I have big plans for him…then all of a sudden he coughed and started gasping for air…MashaALLAH, there was still hope. I rushed home, and held Boboy close to my heart. He was holding on strong to me.

Waiting outside the gate and confused Squiry followed me into the house and I asked mom what to do. Mom told me to put the medicated Indian oilment on the wound. My friend, shocked (part of it of what has just happened and the other half was seeing my reaction).

Boboy tidak ku lepaskan kerana nafasnya makin kencang…dan aku takut dia sedang nazak…masa tue aku hanya beristigfar…minta ALLAH selamatkan dia…seketika nafasnya makin stabil…barulah aku berikannya pada squiry supaya dia dapat menjilat luka anaknya…coz according to my mom, itulah ubat paling mujarab untuk luka kucing.

Nak bawa ke vet, it was late and kompom tiada lagi yang buka…if Boboy survived the night, he could make it…I told myself…so please ALLAH…let him survive the night…I’ll bring him to the vet first thing in the morning…

Later that night, he was getting stronger and dah mula menyusu…I know there was hope. The next day, he was even better, but still I want to bring him to the vet coz it’s a DARN HOLE on the neck OK!! Furthermore the one that bit him was a stray…so u will never know the implication…

When I brought him to the vet, she asked me whether there was much blood from the wound. I said just a bit, and she feared internal bleeding coz the area around the neck was swollen and hard. He needs an operation!!! HELL NO!! He’s too small, he will not survive the surgery…I have experience it before. I told doctor no surgery, NOT YET. Isn’t there other way?

Understanding my trauma of kitten surgery she japed him and prescribed him antibiotics and vitamins to help him recover. But she told me if things got worse in couple of days, we need to perform the surgery…I told her no worries I will be knocking hard on her door if it does.

It’s been almost a week now…Boboy is getting stronger…he’s eating, pooping and peeing all over the place and playing, but not aggressively…Oh ya…he’s also sangat manja wif me nowadays…dia suka baring di bahu ku…Squiry pula is becoming more protective. She watches over him like a hawk (dat makes the two of us). No other cats are allowed to come even near the gate…be it male or female…

Everyone is praying for Boboy, my sisters in the country and outside, my friend who came, my BFF and Insha ALLAH you guys who are reading this lil stowy of mine ©©…AMEEEN!!

I haven’t seen Oren since the incident…He’s afraid I guess…If I do see him, he not getting treats from me anymore; at least not for some time - unless if he’s really hungry. But be ready Oren for a long lecture from me about being a responsible male cat, dosa pahala n syurga neraka…hehehehe

Boboy is allowed outside but with monitoring…BY ME or an ADULT – Squiry doesn’t count ya ;P. He’s a bit cautious nowadays when he sees other cats…it will take some time but Insha ALLAH the day will come when he will the KING of the AlLeY…

I have learned a lot from the incident… my family as well…the BEST Lesson is “No matter how bad the situation may seem, FIGHT till the end…coz you’ll never know…ALLAH might just be testing you to give you a new lesson in life"   You will never know…but just DON’T GIVE UP even when all hope seems LOST…Give ALL YOUR BEST and pray HARD to ALLAH...Insha ALLAH, you will see HIS wonders ©©

Oh ya – BTW, Madame Mimish is still the QUEEN of the house and our HEARTS…just that that we have a new addition to the family ©©

I waited for you

I can't hold back my tears...for me they are more than pets...they are part of me...it is not I who make them happy or feel loved. It's because of them I'm happy and feel loved and feel I actually Mattered. So to all the animals in the world... A tribute to you...

"Woof!" I said as you started the car,

"Hooray!" I said, it's my first time afar.
The scents we were passing were all new to me,
For it was my first introduction to this mystery.
As we got out of the car I embraced you with joy,
After all you remembered to bring my favourite toy!
You threw it once or twice, of which I retrieved,
But on the third it seemed you were ready to leave.
You threw it long and hard and I chased it like lightning,
But when I turned to bring it back I saw a sight quite frightening.
I gripped my toy hard as I tried to comprehend
What it was I did wrong to make our relationship end.
You walked back to your car as I sat there still loyal.
Why am I subservient and you so royal?
Your engine started, and you peeled out into the night,
You didn't even care about my overwhelming fright.
As I sat in my pose determined you would come back,
The sun faded behind me while the surroundings turned black.
Day after day I stayed in that park,
Lying... waiting... too feeble to bark.
As I lay there dying thinking of you master,
I asked myself how I got into this horrifying disaster.
With my last breath of life, I whispered your name
Then I collapsed in a heap overrun by pain.
Why didn't you love me master? Why didn't you care?
Had I no significance, was I just a clump of hair?
I stayed there master and I waited for you
I guess taking care of me was just too much to do.
I'm gone now master, no more You-and-I
But what I can't figure out is why you didn't even say goodbye...
